The goal of gospel preaching is to “declare the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). Those who preach are warned that they will bear a “stricter judgment” (James 3:1). Those who realize this responsibility (though human, and subject to mistakes) make sure that what is preached is “book, chapter and verse,” preaching, that is, having scriptural authority. Only the foolish person will see preaching as an entertainment ploy, a “feel good” session, or an opportunity to impress his audience with human wisdom. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy. 3:16), and is pure in word and spirit.
The sermons that are listed here are presented with these facts in mind. While most of these sermons reflect my own study and understanding of scripture, I have also borrowed freely from other preachers who have made their materials available. I freely acknowledge using some of their outlines and notes as different subject matters were available. Yet these sermons reflect my finished work as I completed my study on any given subject. I also acknowledge a lack of professional quality of audio: coughing, breathing sounds, local items of interest, etc. Please overlook these distractions.
